Amy and Joe got married on a rainy October day at St. Brendans church in Biddeford Pool, but the weather didn't dampen anyone's spirits. Fun times were had by all and their closest family and friends were there to celebrate with them. Here is a preview of the Blais wedding through the lens, enjoy!!!

Mr. & Mrs. Ferrari: September 10, 2011
Maggie and Mike were married on September 10th, 2011 on the beautiful coast of York, ME. "Cucumber's house" (that's what they call their grandmother), was the perfect location for their big day and all of the decorations looked carefully planned out. With hues of grey and yellow and buoys on each table; this event was sure to be a memorable one for sure! The day was filled with great family, friends and lots of lobster! Congrats to Maggie and Mike on starting their new journey in life together; enjoy the sneak peek of their perfect wedding day!!

Kate & Craig's Engagement - She said yes!!!
The past three years have been both extremely exciting and eventful for our family. My sister and I got engaged on the same day and married 7 weeks apart from one another; very exciting and busy times for sure. If getting married that close apart wasn't enough we were also pregnant at the same time and were due a few months apart from each other. Both the babies arrived, happy and healthy, and are definitely loved by everyone. We had no idea how much our lives were about to change for the better and couldn't wait for our kids to get to know their families, especially their Uncle Craig and Auntie Katelyn.
Craig and Katelyn had known each other since they were little kids but were never anything more than family acquaintances. With both sides of the family thinking that Craig and Katelyn would be perfect together; we were all hoping that the day would come when they would finally be "a couple". They finally started dating and we were all SO excited because of how perfect they were for one another. After graduating from college they moved out to Greensboro, North Carolina where Katelyn attended grad school and Craig got a job within his Accounting degree.
After the birth of their nephew Austin and niece Emma, Craig and Katelyn wanted to be able to visit and meet their newest family members. Craig was able to meet Austin in June and July but was trying to figure out a time for him and Katelyn to visit both babies in the fall. A date was set and we all had to keep it a secret that they were both coming home for the long Labor Day weekend to meet beautiful little Emma Claire. Little did we know what was about to happen on this exciting family weekend!
Craig had called me earlier in the week and said that he needed my help with something. Excited and ready to help him I asked what he needed my help with and he said that he needed me to take pictures for him. Of course I jumped at the occasion and I was even more thrilled when he said that he was going to propose to Katelyn and he wanted me to capture the moments of the proposal.
We decided to tell Katelyn that I was going to do a photo shoot of them as a portfolio builder that way they would be all dressed up and looking sharp. The Seashore Trolley Museum was the perfect setting to do this with their rustic backgrounds and history of transportation; a photographers dream for endless backgrounds and posing props! Towards the end of the photo shoot Craig had picked out the perfect spot to ask Katelyn one of the most important questions of her life. With a casual nod to Eric and a quick but sneaky "ring retrieval", Katelyn had no idea what was about to happen.
On September 3rd of 2011, Craig asked Katelyn to be his wife and Katelyn was completely surprised! She had thought at first that the whole thing was a joke and was in shock but was soon to realize that this was "the real deal" and finally said "Yes"! There were happy tears and unforgettable smiles from both of them as they knew they were both about to embark on a new part of their lives together!
Congratulations Craig and Katelyn on your engagement; we can't wait to officially welcome Kate into the family!
Enjoy the images :-)

Amy & Joey: Engagement Session
Over the weekend I had the privilege of shooting the engagement pictures for the Blais wedding happening this upcoming October. Joey proposed to Amy on the rocks of Biddeford Pool so it only made sense for us to take some engagement pictures there as well. However, the weather and the tides had other plans for us; leaving the rocks that Joey proposed on completely covered by the waves and summer swimmers. Here is a sneak peek of the session with the happy couple and their adorable dog Cooper. Enjoy!

Pineland Farms Flower Shoot
Being able to enjoy this beautiful summer while I am on maternity leave has been absolutely wonderful to say the least. We have been trying to get out of the house as often as possible and were lucky to find ourselves visiting Eric at his place of work on the beautiful grounds of the Pineland Farm complex. Here are a few shots of some of the flowers in their gardens; enjoy!!!
